Farah worked as a technician from 2024-2026. In 2026 she started in the Molecular Medicine PhD program here at UMB!
Cyro von Zuben, PhD
Cyro was a visiting postdoctoral fellow from September 2024-March 2025. During his time here, he studied circulating tumor cells isolation methods to strengthen his postdoctoral project at the Brazilian Center for Research in Energy and Materials (CNPEM).
Arryn Berroya
Arryn worked as a summer intern in our lab starting in 2024. She continued on with her project throughout her school year at University of Maryland, College Park, where she recently received her Bachelor’s degree in Cell Biology and Genetics.
Aidan Moriarty, PhD
Aidan defended her PhD in November of 2024 titled “Establishment of a Highly Prognostic Hypoxic Memory Metagene Signature in Luminal Breast Cancer.” She now works as a medical writer.
Yiru (Jess) Wang, MS
Jess completed her Masters in the Yu Lab and continued working as a technician until 2024. Jess is now in Chicago for medical school!
