Research

Rebecca’s research focuses on hypoxic tumor cells and how they promote metastasis and immune evasion in the primary tumor. She is currently working to understand how interferon signaling is down regulated in hypoxia, and how this may impact the tumor immune environment.

B.S. in biology with minors in business administration and public health – Elon University

Outside of the lab, Rebecca enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading, and traveling.
