Research

Arryn joined the Yu lab in summer 2023 under UMB’s American Cancer Society’s Diversity in Cancer Research Internship where she investigated factors that have a role in the initialization of brain metastasis under Dr. Yu, Dr. Klotz, and Jess Wang. Arryn now continues this work with Dr. Klotz and his current project of brain metastasis regulation.

Education

Anticipated 2026 – B.S. Biological Sciences: Cell Biology & Genetics with a double minor in Asian American Studies and Humanities, Health, & Medicine. University of Maryland College Park

Hobbies

Outside of academia, Arryn likes to draw, paint, and journal. Whenever she has time, she enjoys spending time with her family, especially her twelve cousins.
